Sports Opinion From The Middle Of Nowhere: Lets hope the blog is better than the name.
Hello new reader(yes reader, you might be the only one)
My name's Kyle, most people just call me Bandit. Love sports, love writing, hell, decided I might as well start a Sports Blog. A little background, I play college baseball at The University of Texas of the Permian Basin, residing in Odessa, Tx(if it's familiar sounding, it is the town as the Friday Night Lights school. Just as desert like and boring as it is in the movie). I am a freshman, and going to school in Odessa, I have a lot of time on my hands, and a lot of opinions about sports that you may or may not care about.
To start off, lets just lay down the core values of this blog:
1. This blog supports the: Dallas Cowboys, Virginia Tech Hokies, and Minnesota Twins. Tony Romo is the man. Tyrod Taylor is the man. Joe Mauer, yes, the man as well.
2. I am a fan that criticizes my own teams. I mean it with love.
3. The Red Sox are just like the Yankees, maybe even worse.
4. Tim Tebow=Douchebag. This will not be argued. The man can play some football. This shall not be argued as well.
5. I will do my best to address comments about the blog, even the most likely form, criticism. Feel free to say what you want. Bonus points for smashing the Yankees, Eagles, or Boston College.
6. Brett Favre should have retired 4 years ago.
7. I will continue writing even if I only have one reader. Unless that reader grills me like Jim Rome every entry, then I might have to rethink continuing.
8. Belichick's cut off sweater just has to go.
9. Eric Mangini, Al Davis, and Martellus Bennet, along with many others in sports, are completely insane. Chad "the receiver formally known as Chad Johnson" Ochocinco, is not insane, in fact, the man is a genius.
10. Announcer and sports reporter wise, Gammons is above all. Although I am surprised anyone on the Red Sox can walk with that old bag of bones hanging off their nuts. Jay Marrioti has my respect for always telling it like it is. And Lou Holtz is going senile.
As I continue this possibly unread blog, my goal is to throw in my horribly biased opinion on hot topics in sports, butcher athletes who could crush me with their wallet, and hopefully, entertain.
Until next time(maybe)
Bandit
